The AGEFORCE project officially launched on 28 January 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece, bringing together partners from across Europe for a productive and inspiring kick-off meeting. The meeting marked the beginning of a collaborative journey to empower older adults through increased participation in Physical Activity.
During the meeting, partners had the opportunity to get to know each other, share their expertise, and align on the project’s vision and objectives. Discussions focused on how AGEFORCE will engage older adults, explore their needs and motivations, and co-create solutions that promote active and healthy lifestyles.
The consortium also outlined the first steps of the project, including the organisation of citizen panels and the development of key tools and methodologies. The meeting concluded with a strong sense of collaboration and a shared commitment to making AGEFORCE a meaningful and impactful initiative across Europe.
